Vitality Bowls, a new healthy concept, is open in Aksarben

BY OMAHA WORLD HERALD – Vitality Bowls, a new spot focused on acai bowls and smoothies, is open.

The new location is the first for Katie and Tony DeSantis, who plan to open one additional location in Omaha. The restaurant is at 1922 S. 67th St., just south of the intersection of 67th Street and Shirley Street.

This is the first Vitality Bowls in Nebraska. The chain has 57 locations nationwide.

The menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner items, and acai toppings include spirulina, bee pollen and aronia berries, among others. The menu also includes soup and panini sandwiches.

Beverages include locally produced Hardy Coffee, Artemis Tea and FishEye Kombucha.
