Northern California-based Vitality Bowls, which serves acai bowls, smoothies, wraps, grain bowls and salads, is opening Nov. 18 in Lubbock County, Texas, marking the second location for franchisee Molly Watters, who also owns the original Lubbock cafe at 2400 Glenna Goodacre Blvd.
Located 10501 Quaker Ave., near the Reserve Shopping Center at the intersection of 105th St., the shop is the chain’s 12th in Texas, joining the 130 locations open or in development nationwide.
“As the owner of the existing successful Vitality Bowls cafe on the north side of the city, we know the demand for Vitality Bowls in the area and want to maximize our reach to new guests, and continue to provide healthy options for those in the community,” Watters said in a company press release. “The cafe offers an array of options for everyone, including acai bowls, salads, toasts and more that people can feel good about eating. We know that our new location will solidify Vitality Bowls as a large part of the local food scene.”
Roy and Tara Gilad founded Vitality Bowls in 2011 in San Ramon, California.
