BY PHOENIX BUSINESS JOURNAL – A California cafe has announced franchising plans for four cities in Maricopa County.
San Ramon, Calif.-based Vitality Bowls is currently in seek of franchisees in order to expand to locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale and Mesa, tapping essentially every corner of the Valley.
The cafe specializes in acaí bowls, the increasingly popular dish which is “basically a really thick smoothie that’s been topped with oatmeal, fruit or peanut butter, and then you wolf it down with a spoon.”
According to a press release, the four Valley cities were chosen for expansion plans because of their “strong mix of attractive residential and growing business communities.”
Vitality Bowls currently has 20 locations in Texas, Florida, California, Colorado and Indiana and has 30 locations under way.
The concept was founded in 2011.
