From Eater Austin, Nadia Chaudhury – California restaurant chain Vitality Bowls is looking to open in Austin, as part of its expansion plans. The health-food chain focuses on made-to-order açaí bowls, smoothies, juices, soups, salads, and paninis. Co-founders Roy and Tara Gilad started the company in 2011 in California and began franchising the company in 2014.
