California-based healthy food café concept Vitality Bowls is gearing up to launch its first New Jersey outpost.
Located at 434 Bergen St. in Harrison, the new store will celebrate its Feb. 9 grand opening with exclusive deals, including a Buy One, Get One Free offer on all acai bowls. From Feb. 10-11, a Buy One, Get One 50% off discount will apply to any menu item.
With a focus on quick, healthy meals made with clean, high-quality ingredients that pack exceptional nutritional value, Vitality Bowls’ menu includes acai bowls, smoothies, juices, salads, grain bowls, wraps and toasts.
The concept was born 12 years ago out of Roy and Tara Gilad’s search to find safe, healthy food alternatives after discovering their daughter’s severe food allergies. Now, with more than 70 locations open nationwide, the brand ranks as one of the fastest-growing franchises in the U.S. by Entrepreneur, Inc. 5000, Restaurant Business and Fast Casual.

Amit Patel, an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, said he and his partner, Tuhina Patel, are thrilled to introduce Vitality Bowls to Hudson County.
“Our café is more than just healthy food – it’s a lifestyle … Vitality Bowls is here to prove that eating nutritious food is 100% vital to a happy, healthy life and luckily for residents in Harrison, we’ve made it delicious, too,” he said.
