Vitality Bowls Pleasant Hill
Vitality Bowls Pleasant Hill opened in February 2015 on Crescent Drive in downtown Pleasant Hill located right across from the Century Movie Theater.
Pleasant Hill is a city in Contra Costa County, east of San Francisco. A suburban town with rolling hills and tree-lined streets, it’s home to many families.
Vitality Bowls Pleasant Hill is conveniently located in the city’s relatively new downtown area and caters often to so many local businesses. Surrounded by restaurants, shopping, parks and the movie theater, the area is frequented by local residents. Customers love stopping by Vitality Bowls Pleasant Hill for acai bowls, fresh juices, smoothies, Panini, salads and soup while out and about. A frequent stop for students heading to a movie, one of Vitality Bowls Pleasant Hill’s most popular items is the Tropical Bowl, a blend of Organic Açaí, Coconut Milk, Apple Juice, Bananas, Mango, Pineapple, Flax Seed, Toppings, Organic Granola, Bananas, Strawberries, Coconut Shavings and Honey. Customers also love the Sirloin Panini – All Natural Seasoned Seared Sirloin, Mozzarella Cheese, Spinach, and Dijon.
Vitality Bowls Pleasant Hill is another corporate location owned by Roy and Tara Gilad. Many customers were traveling to the nearby Walnut Creek location for their Vitality Bowls so the couple knew Pleasant Hill would be the perfect place and they were right.
“Out of all the bowls I have tried, my favorite is the warrior bowl and detox bowl. I like that you can add additional toppings like peanut butter. I wish they had another location closer to me. They sell other items like paninis, chips, smoothies and cookies. I go there specifically for those 2 bowls. They are generous with the toppings. Sizes available are medium and large. I can finish a medium to myself and share a large.” -Lena M. Hercules, CA
“I love going to Vitality Bowl!
“Their Acai Bowls are super wonderful & healthy! When I’m craving something sweet but healthy, this is def my go-to place. Ive tried most of their Acai bowls. I really like their Dragon & Warrior Bowl. Yum!
“Ofc, theres going to be a bit of a wait since their food is made-to-order but totally worth it! It is a bit pricey though but super delish!
“Employees are super nice & always giving recommendations. Keep up the good work!”

“This Vitality Bowl is closer to me than the Walnut Creek one and I looooved that one, so when this one opened up I was ecstatic. Same good old bowls if you’ve had them before. My favorites are the nutty bowl and the dragon bowl. They’re delicious and even though they are “yogurt” type bowls, they’re super filling! I can never even finish a medium one. Also, if you’re into reggae you’ll love eating inside the shop. They always have awesome playlists going on! The workers are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on the menu — especially since some of the items are foreign to me.
“My only con and the reason for not giving a 5 star is just that the bowls are on the pricier side. Not too expensive but the dragon bowl, for example, is around 12 dollars without add-ons. Also, they were out of potato leek soup which is no one’s fault (I’ve worked in food and know it just happens) but still a bummer!
“Either way, great food, super filling and nice workers!”
